1) Mission: assigned task
- Setting up of the AROPA project (support for the intensification of professional organizations and for the agricultural services)
- Recruitment of a team, purchases of equipments, identification of the municipalities…
- Developing support and advice of nearness for the family farms and for the peasant organizations (training of the presenters, animation and advice of nearness on 15 municipalities)
- Implementation of the Regional Fund of Agricultural Development (FRDA): pilot project, monitoring and control of the financial procedures
- Realization of actions (information and communication)
- Assure the administrative and financial management of the activities in connection with the administrative personnel and the persons in charge of the project
- Contribute to the definition of the annual action plans, to the monitoring and to the evaluation of the implemented activities.
2) Responsibilities
- Strengthening of the agricultural professional organizations to improve incomes and reduce the vulnerability of the small producers
- Reinforcement and professionalization of producers’ organizations so as to improve their skills with the aim of the sustainable promotion of operating systems and facilitate their integration in the economic environment
- Facilitate the financing of the production and the agricultural services
- Valuation of the services proposed to the farmers by the institutions
- Follow up the development of centers of agricultural services and regional peasant organizations
- Assist their access to a service and to equipment adapted to their needs
- Support the regional professional structure
